Three gutter profiles for Geelong homes.
1. Quad gutter (most common)

3. Box gutter
Square / rectangular profile, used on parapet walls, roof valleys, and contemporary flat-roof homes. Box gutter is also the gutter type most likely to overflow into the roof cavity if not sized correctly — we calculate to AS/NZS 3500.3 with the rainfall intensity for Geelong (167mm/hr 1-in-100-year).

Downpipes
Standard 100x50mm rectangular Colorbond downpipes, $185–$280 each (supply, install, connect to existing stormwater). Round 90mm (heritage profile) slightly more. Where the existing PVC stormwater connection is broken or undersized, we rectify on the same job.
Leaf guard
Aluminium mesh insert leaf guard, $32–$48 per linear metre. Worth it on properties under big eucalypts (parts of Highton, Newtown, the Bellarine coastal scrub). Saves a quarterly gutter clean.

Standard galv gutter brackets corrode through within 8–12 years on Bellarine and Surf Coast homes. We use stainless 316 brackets on every gutter job within 5km of Bass Strait or Corio Bay. Adds 8–15% to the bracket bill but doubles the bracket lifespan.
